Dr. Daniel Nour (Founder)

Dr. Daniel Nour has a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from James Cook University.

Early in his career, he realised his passion to address the needs of underprivileged and vulnerable members of the community. This led to his ambition to start a mobile medical clinic which uniquely addresses the multiple health disparities experienced by the homeless and alleviates the many burdens present in accessing healthcare. With the support of mentors, colleagues, and countless others who assisted, Street Side Medics was created.


MS. jENNY aLLUM

In her 27th year at SCEGS Darlinghurst, Ms Allum, the current Head of school, is a well-respected leading educator of young women. In 2011, she was awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of NSW for her "eminent service to the community" through her extensive work in, and passionate commitment to education.

Ms Allum comes with a wealth of knowledge, passion and commitment and is a valuable member of the Street Side Medics board.


Prof. Ravinay Bhindi (DIRECTOR)

A director of the company since its genesis, Professor Ravinay Bhindi has been vital in the development of Street Side Medics.

Along with his role as Director of Street Side Medics, Prof. Bhindi is the Head of Cardiology at Royal North Shore Hospital where he operates as an Interventional Cardiologist. His life’s work has been committed to improving the survival and quality of life of patients with coronary artery and structural heart disease.

Alongside this, his focus has always been on addressing the health needs of Indigenous Australians and other minority communities.

Mrs. Alex Baer (Director)

For the last 5 years, Alex Baer has held the role of Structural Heart Coordinator at North Shore Private Hospital. This is on a background of an extensive and well distinguished career as a registered nurse.

Alex has a strong interest in clinical governance and academic research and has held a key role across clinical, academic and executive sectors of North Shore Private having coordinated a number of prodigious clinical trials.

A/Prof. Ayman Shenouda (Director)

Assoc Prof Shenouda has been a practicing GP for more than 20 years. He is the current Vice-President of the RACGP and has been the chair of the RACGP rural division since 2014. He is a member of RACGP NSW&ACT and was on the RACGP National Standard Committee education for several years. 

Assoc Prof Shenouda was named 2009 RACGP GP of the year. His practice the Glenrock Country Practice was named the 2007 NSW&ACT GP of the year award, and awarded three Australian GP Accreditation Limited awards in 2009 and 2010. 

Assoc Prof Shenouda’s provides a wealth of knowledge on the clinical, logistical and political framework of practicing as a general practitioner, and running a successful clinic.


andrew parker (Director)

Andrew Parker brings a wealth of business and not for profit experience and shares a strong passion on advocating for those experiencing disadvantage  and helping to secure better outcomes for our community. Andrew is currently the Chief Sustainability Officer at Qantas and Chairman of the Australia Day Council of NSW.
